Is it a loose line or something?

My DVD Drive is acting unusual. Like when I put a cd in here sometimes it works and recognizes it or it say insert a cd into the drive when there is one contained by there. Or possibly if its not working and I restart the computer adjectives of a sudden it works. Is this because something is loose in it or to be precise connecting it to the modem, because I just want it fixed?

Modem would hold nothing to do beside a DVD drive. Loose IDE cables are a possibility but unlikely. I would suggest doing some reserach and walk onto the manufacturers page and see what the FAQ's or support ancestors tell you. Otherwise, can it and buy a cheap internal one (they are $40 on newegg very soon if you know how to install them).
sounds like it may involve to be cleaned or maby your using cheep media try using unmarked meida and cleaning the laser if that dont work replace the drive it will fail soon and not read anything
Try varying the Hdd cable and see or this could be the drive problem also.
