I enjoy an HP m1264n medium center computer. Can I install a Raedon graphics card adept of 3D graphics?

Answer:
Hi Len..
Your HP have built-in/onboard graphics,,,
and does not have a devoted slot for graphics cards.

On that type of motherboard the only mode to Add a Graphics Card is to use a "Plain old PCI" slot card.

There's a few modern PCI Cards that bestow pretty good manners.

Radeon 9250 PCI,
is a pretty good card.
But it's a DirectX-8 Card

Radeon X1300 PCI ,
these are the most modern, best performing PCI cards.
DirectX-9 Card

Here's a link to NewEgg.com schedule of Radeon X1300's,,you can read the reviews.

.................................
Here's "all" of their PCI Cards,,,which is a good representation of what's across the world available.

Nvidia has,
Geforce 5200,,,5500,,and 6200 contained by PCI Interface.
They're all DirectX-9,,,and are adjectives good perfomers.

If $$$ matter,,,some patience & shopping on Ebay usually turns up a Bargain.

Keep surrounded by mind:
You need "plain" PCI,,
not the newer PCI-E aka "PCI Express"

*even though PCI cards dont even approach the performing levels of the Latest Technology Graphics cards,,,,
any of the medium-level or better PCI cards will provide you beside a BIG boost in graphics acting out.

Plus they unload the Graphics' demand Off of the Computer,,and Onto the video card.....so you attain a bit of a boost there also.

Usually,,,The PC recognize the Video Card and auto-disables the Onboard Video.
But not always on PCI slot cards(Because PCI Cards are repeatedly used to add Multiple Monitor Capability,,so Board's Graphics stays enabled)

You may want to check within your BIOS setup screen,,and disable the Onboard Graphics.

Hope that help

Edit:
If by chance you crop up to have any problems or conflicts near getting video Drivers installed,,,,,
Omega Drivers always work excellent and install incredibly easy.
